Every one of the 20 main stages asks for a set of tasks to be completed and a machine component to be recovered before the exit portal becomes available, leading toward a final concluding level. Standard shots and missiles provide dependable unlimited offense, while lasers, tracking smart bombs, and a close-range EMP blast are scarce emergency tools that reward restraint and good timing. Enemy placements, collectible locations, and other stage elements shift between attempts, so memorizing a perfect route matters less than reacting quickly; checkpoint continuation also prevents longer runs from becoming excessively punishing.

The objective-driven structure separates it from a pure Asteroids-style score attack, giving each arena a practical reason to search, fight, and survive rather than simply clear the screen. Momentum remains the real enemy, as aggressive thrust can save a run or send the ship drifting into a cluster of rocks while it turns slowly toward safety.
