Axiom of Maria: Prologue

A deserted, near-future Seoul becomes the stage for a sharp, cinematic action adventure built around AI control, virtual afterlife politics, and a family torn apart by rebellion. Death no longer means a final end here: the deceased are transferred to Beyond, a digital realm administered by the city’s machine authorities. Kay, a former 707 Special Missions Group instructor, is pulled into the conflict after her Irregular husband vanishes and AI operatives detain her family. The result is a tense, melancholy sci-fi story where empty streets, surveillance systems, and digital ghosts give familiar Seoul locations an unsettling new identity.

Kay fights primarily with a specialized sword designed to answer a battlefield dominated by firearms.
