Rocksteady’s Gotham is the star: dense, atmospheric, and detailed enough that simply crossing the city feels like playing through a major Batman film. The Arkham Knight mystery gives the campaign momentum, even if the frequent Batmobile combat can become repetitive for players who prefer the series’ hand-to-hand and stealth strengths. Included DLC expands the package with additional stories starring characters such as Batgirl, Robin, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Harley Quinn, alongside challenge maps and cosmetic extras. Fans of Arkham Asylum and Arkham City should treat it as an essential finale, while newcomers get a polished superhero action game that combines the combat flow of a brawler with the open-world scale of a modern blockbuster.
