Repetitive objectives and uneven visuals remain part of the Musou formula, so players seeking a precise character-action game in the vein of Devil May Cry may find the combat too simple. Fans of Berserk, anime action, and cathartic crowd-clearing combat, however, get an unusually faithful way to relive the series’ most iconic conflicts.
