Blue Estate The Game is an on-rails first-person shooter adapted from Viktor Kalvachev’s graphic novel, pairing mobster melodrama with deliberately tasteless humor. One campaign follows Tony Luciano, the unstable heir to an Italian crime family, as he hunts for kidnapped dancer Cherry Popz; another puts players behind Clarence, a hard-luck former Navy SEAL trying to contain the disaster Tony creates. The mood is gleefully chaotic rather than serious, shifting from LA mansions and streets to a Jamaica-set criminal showdown.

Movement is automatic, so the focus stays on aiming, firing, reloading, and reacting to targets as they burst from windows, hide behind cover, or charge directly at the screen. Enemies arrive in exaggerated waves, including armed golfers, gangsters, and bizarre attack dogs, while environmental hazards and destructible objects reward players who scan beyond the obvious targets. Story Mode runs through seven missions with character banter and scripted action scenes, while Arcade Mode strips the experience down to score chasing, time pressure, headshots, and combo maintenance. Keyboard and mouse controls work well for traditional PC play, but controller support, Leap Motion compatibility, local two-player co-op, online leaderboard comparisons, and unofficial light-gun support make it especially suited to arcade-style setups.

Its strongest feature is commitment to the graphic novel’s rough, colorful caricatured look, which gives the violence a distinct pulp-comic identity instead of chasing realism. The shooting itself is straightforward, but high-score runs add replay value through accuracy, route knowledge, and finding targets quickly before a combo expires. Players who enjoy The House of the Dead, Time Crisis, or goofy grindhouse action will find a compact, energetic alternative here, especially with a friend sharing the screen. Veterans may wish for deeper mechanics and a longer campaign, but newcomers to rail shooters get an accessible, immediately readable introduction.
