Most of your time revolves around sailing between islands, managing crew morale and supplies, accepting contracts, and deciding which factions deserve your loyalty. Naval battles emphasize positioning, broadside timing, ammunition choices, boarding actions, and the practical challenge of keeping a valuable vessel afloat long enough to claim its cargo. On land, you investigate towns, ruins, caves, jungles, and dungeons while handling quests through sword fights, pistol duels, dialogue choices, and occasional stealthy problem-solving. Money feeds directly into progression, letting you improve ships, acquire equipment, recruit officers and companions, expand into a fleet, or risk everything on settlement sieges and colonial conquest.
