Game Overview
A lovesick vampire nobleman spends five centuries writing poetry, receives a brutally brief reply, and immediately turns the result into everyone else’s problem. Carry The Count is a chaotic physics-driven co-op adventure about hauling its loudly opinionated master, coffin and all, through a perilous fantasy countryside to reach his lost love. The mood sits somewhere between slapstick horror and a dysfunctional road trip, with grim swamps, mountain passes, monsters, and a Count who never stops insulting the servants attempting to help him. Beneath the jokes is a surprisingly demanding transport challenge built around keeping a fragile, unwieldy coffin moving.
Players control Igor-like helpers who push, pull, climb, swim, punch, and occasionally launch one another toward objectives. The coffin serves as both cargo and toolkit: it can be balanced across gaps, pulled uphill with a winch and grappling hook, and fitted with a cannon to fire a companion onto distant ledges or mechanisms. Progress means crossing 19 regions full of collapsing routes, hostile guards, trolls, boulders, magical hazards, and constant repair jobs when the coffin inevitably takes damage. Solo play lets you tackle the journey at a measured pace, while online co-op for up to four players turns every steep cliff and rushed recovery into an argument, rescue attempt, or hilarious accident.
Its best idea is making the central objective an active, awkward object rather than a passive escort target; moving the coffin is the whole adventure, and every tool changes how the group approaches terrain. The Count’s relentless commentary gives failures personality, while optional nonsense—wearable hats, sausages, instruments, toxic mushrooms, and trading with Baba Yaga’s walking shop—keeps the world playful instead of punishing. Fans of Human: Fall Flat, Heave Ho, and Overcooked-style cooperative disorder should find plenty to enjoy, especially with friends willing to improvise. Patient solo players can still appreciate the physical puzzle solving, but Carry The Count clearly shines brightest when a team is desperately trying to save its master from rolling into another ravine.

Setup Guide & Troubleshooting
How do I fix missing DLL errors for Carry The Count (v1.0.1)?
After extracting Carry The Count (v1.0.1), navigate to the _Redist or _CommonRedist folder inside the game directory and install DirectX, Vcredist, and any other dependencies included.
What should I do if the downloaded file is corrupted?
The full archive is 5.03 GB — make sure your download completed fully before extracting. Use 7-Zip to extract the files. If you still see a "file corrupted" error, re-download and try again.
Do I need to run the game as administrator?
Usually, no. Start the game normally from the extracted folder. If you see a permissions or save error, check that the folder is writable and follow the game's documented fix. Only grant administrator access when a trusted game's specific setup requires it.
How do I update my GPU drivers for this game?
The game won't launch — what should I try?
Check that extraction completed and your PC meets the system requirements, including Version 12. Note any error message before choosing a fix. If it identifies a missing runtime, install the required DirectX components or Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable from Microsoft.
My antivirus is blocking the game — is it safe?
A warning needs to be investigated; the download source alone cannot confirm that a file is safe. Keep your security software enabled and review the detection details. Do not run or restore a flagged file unless you have verified that it is a false positive. If you are unsure, leave it quarantined.
