Cyber City is a hostile neon sprawl where a rogue techno-cult controls the streets, and its mayor fights back personally rather than governing from behind a desk. Cyber Cult City blends action-RPG combat with roguelite structure, sending you through shifting districts full of corrupted machines, armed cultists, valuable scrap, and opportunities to turn the environment against its owners. The mood is scrappy and kinetic: you race through dangerous streets on a hoverboard, make quick tactical calls, and bail out when a mission turns ugly. Every run is about building enough momentum to reclaim another piece of the city.

Combat revolves around five evolving weapon categories—ranged, melee, thrown gear, traps, and the hoverboard itself—while hacking acts as a versatile second toolkit. Cars, turrets, drones, utility boxes, sewer systems, enemies, and even temporary boosts can be hijacked, creating openings that simple shooting cannot. Procedurally assembled city sectors encourage scouting at speed before committing to an attack, while branching mission choices and modifiers force you to account for the build you have rather than follow a fixed plan. Weapon stat cards keep progression open-ended, adding raw power and elemental behavior such as chain lightning, freezing barriers, fire effects, knockback, and more. Stackable perks become stronger or transform as duplicates accumulate, and drone components plus research tokens provide permanent upgrades that survive failed runs.

Its strongest idea is how freely it mixes mobility, hacking, and escalating buildcraft. A high-speed board slam can soften up a crowd before you jump off with a flaming blade, or a hacked defense system can cover a retreat while you escape to regroup. Between missions, shops, meals, hidden bonuses, and minigames add a little personality to the city and offer useful advantages beyond combat.
