Its tone is pulpy military sci-fi: serious enough to give each operation stakes, but always focused on the immediate thrill of surviving another screen-filling attack.

Missions revolve around blasting through dense enemy waves, collecting dropped components, and weaving through projectile patterns with a fighter built for aggression. A dedicated evasive maneuver lets you slip past standard fire, while taking a hit costs an equipped extra weapon rather than ending the run outright; bosses are less forgiving, bringing dangerous attacks that demand sharper positioning and pattern recognition. Progression comes through blueprints and parts used to craft new ships, weapons, upgrades, and power-ups, allowing different loadouts to suit careful survival play or heavy damage output. The non-linear campaign presents several operational routes through aerial battles, bases, mines, factories, laboratories, Arctic installations, and stranger locations, encouraging repeat runs to see every mission.

Difficulty changes more than enemy health, with altered formations, revised firing behavior, additional opponents, and exclusive boss encounters on the toughest settings. That structure makes lower levels approachable for genre newcomers while leaving Hard and Insane modes as the real proving ground for players who enjoy learning bullet patterns and refining builds. The crafting tree adds a useful sense of long-term ownership that many short arcade shooters lack, and the route choices keep its compact campaign from feeling like a one-and-done flight.
