Daymare Town places you among the Metamorphs, bizarre residents whose forms and motives are never entirely clear, then asks you to navigate their decaying streets in search of a way out. The tone is eerie rather than violent: every scribbled alley, broken mechanism, and distant piano note suggests a place operating on dream logic. Its hand-drawn presentation gives the town a deliberately rough, uneasy personality that feels closer to an illustrated surrealist puzzle book than a conventional adventure game.

Progress comes from carefully inspecting each screen, collecting useful objects, speaking with inhabitants, and matching inventory items to the town’s many strange obstacles.
