Rather than delivering nonstop action, it makes survival feel administrative, political, and deeply personal; a well-stocked pantry can matter as much as a loaded rifle. The shelter is not merely a menu hub, since its residents react to shortages, leadership choices, and one another in ways that can reshape the entire campaign.
