A blocked objective never means failure when a Driller can carve a direct route, an Engineer can create a bridge, or a Gunner can string a zip line across a lethal chasm. Random cave layouts, mission modifiers, biome hazards, weapon builds, and higher hazard levels keep the familiar mining loop fresh long after the first successful evacuation. Its stylized visuals are readable even amid chaos, while the sound design makes every distant screech and collapsing rock wall unsettling.
