After many long years, Scott Host, the creator of Galactix and Raptor Call of the Shadows, has remastered his shareware legend DemonStar – and now it comes soaring back with new game modes and revised gameplay. Originally published in 1997 and later earning the COMPUTER GAMING WORLD’s “Shareware Game of the Year 1999” award, DemonStar was and still is considered by fans as one of the best 2D space shooters on PC.

As you pilot your spaceship through each of the 18 progressive levels, you can build up an arsenal worthy of a match against the XIDUS empire.
