It feels less like a faithful simulation of motorsport and more like an arcade combat racer built around the film’s secret-agent premise.

Races ask players to drift through corners, boost down straights, perform aerial stunts, and use spy gadgets to knock rivals off course or defend their own position. Different event types change the focus between straightforward races, weapon-heavy battles, survival challenges, and objective-driven missions, so the campaign does not rely on one format alone. Completing events unlocks additional characters, tracks, abilities, and upgrades, giving younger players clear goals while offering completionists plenty to chase. Controls are deliberately approachable, but timing boosts, managing weapons, and learning track shortcuts create enough room for stronger performances on higher difficulties.

Its strongest feature is the way it turns the Cars cast into a roster of gadget-equipped arcade racers rather than simply recreating scenes from the movie.
