Its colorful fantasy presentation keeps the mood approachable, but later waves become demanding as ogres, wyverns, and specialized enemies tear apart weak layouts. The result is a satisfying game of preparation, improvisation, and watching a seemingly hopeless choke point hold.

Each match alternates between building defenses and fighting through enemy waves. Players choose from the armored Squire, trap-focused Huntress, spellcasting Apprentice, or support-minded Monk, with every hero bringing different weapons, abilities, and defensive tools. Barricades stall enemies while towers, traps, auras, and direct combat damage whittle them down, and the limited defense budget forces meaningful choices about placement and upgrades.
