Its tone mixes colorful anime melodrama, urban fantasy, and straightforward arcade action rather than leaning into grim horror. The result is a compact, story-led beat-’em-up built around the appeal of protecting a real-world city from impossible threats.

Combat plays from a third-person perspective and centers on chaining light and heavy strikes into quick, crowd-clearing combos. Yumo can dodge through pressure, build momentum, call in Guardians for specialized assist attacks, and unleash powerful finishing moves when the screen fills with enemies.
