E9uations is a single-player puzzle game inspired by Sokoban, with a unique twist that integrates basic arithmetic operations into its core gameplay. Players control the equals sign itself, maneuvering it to connect numbers and operators to complete equations. Once an equation is formed, the calculation runs automatically, displaying the result on the opposite side. The objective is to match numbers with octagon-shaped targets of the same value, causing both to disappear. With only the four fundamental arithmetic operations involved, the puzzles avoid complex mental math, instead requiring players to apply logical insight to each scenario. The game is divided into multiple chapters, each featuring a distinct theme and a mix of easier and more challenging puzzles that allow for non-linear progression. Most puzzles come with hints, which are simplified versions of the main challenges designed to guide players without giving away the solution outright. Additional features include unlimited undo options and controller support, enhancing the player experience across over 160 handcrafted puzzles.
