Players harvest resources, farm crops, research technology, manufacture equipment, and construct increasingly elaborate bases from the ground up. Combat is more involved than simple point-and-shoot action: firearms account for projectile speed, spread, and drop, while grenades, energy weapons, and heavy ordnance can tear through enemies and the terrain around them.
