Casting powers depletes FAITH and raises FEAR, while monsters can worsen that spiral until a terrifying entity claims you; alcohol, friendly support, and generator light help keep the panic under control. Nearly every useful object has physical presence, so players can carry, toss, catch, trigger, or weaponize equipment in ways that create both clever saves and spectacular disasters.

The generator system gives the game an especially effective risk-reward hook, since activating it calms enemies and restores resources while denying access to darker, more profitable routes.
