An unlikely fish becomes the star of a bright, globe-hopping platform adventure built around being spectacularly far from the safety of home. Fishy2 sends its aquatic hero through ten sharply different regions, shifting from lush jungle oases and submerged routes to frozen tundra, volcanic interiors, and eventually the strange isolation of outer space. The premise is deliberately playful rather than realistic, with each new setting treating the fish-out-of-water idea as an excuse for another colourful obstacle course. Its tone is light, accessible, and focused on the satisfaction of clearing tricky jumps one screen at a time.

Platforming drives every stage, asking players to guide the fish across suspended ledges, environmental hazards, moving platforms, and puzzle-based routes toward the exit. Progress comes from learning the timing and layout of each course, while puzzles add a slower, more deliberate layer between precision jumps. A total of 150 levels gives the campaign a substantial amount of content, and the difficulty range starts with beginner-friendly challenges before moving into advanced and expert stages designed to test patience and control. Stage select also makes Fishy2 less restrictive than a linear platformer, letting players revisit favourites or skip around its worlds rather than forcing a single fixed path.

Its biggest strength is variety: few simple 3D platformers move from jungle scenery to volcanoes and space while keeping the same absurd fish protagonist at the centre. The world-to-world changes help prevent the large level count from feeling like one long set of similar courses, while the escalating challenge gives experienced players reasons to keep pushing past the early lessons. Fishy2 suits players looking for a straightforward, family-friendly platforming challenge in the vein of smaller collectathon-era 3D games, especially those who enjoy replaying stages to master difficult routes.
