Police work revolves around patrolling, responding to reports, issuing citations, securing scenes, and pursuing fleeing suspects in fast vehicles. Medical crews assess casualties, identify injuries, apply the appropriate treatment, transport patients, and use stretchers and ambulances when conditions become critical. Firefighters tackle spreading flames, use hoses and extinguishers, and deploy rescue equipment to cut open wrecked vehicles so medics can reach trapped victims. Missions arrive across the map, creating a repeatable loop of driving to emergencies, managing the scene with department-specific gear, and trying to prevent a bad situation from becoming worse; online multiplayer allows friends to cover different roles in the same incident.

The strongest idea is the way its three services overlap rather than feeling like isolated career modes. A major collision can require police to control the area, firefighters to extract victims, and medical personnel to stabilize them, making coordinated multiplayer far more satisfying than simply racing from marker to marker. Vehicles and equipment give each role a tangible identity, from patrol cars and ambulances to fire engines and hydraulic tools, while the open city encourages players to make their own emergency-service stories.
