Dice-driven outcomes keep the tabletop flavor intact, yet the expanded battle maps give players more control than the original game when a fight goes wrong. Five connected adventures deliver a substantial campaign with dozens of hours of content, and randomized maps, party combinations, loot, and encounters support repeat runs after the credits. Fans of For the King, Darkest Dungeon’s tense expeditions, or tabletop-inspired RPGs should find plenty to enjoy, while newcomers can learn the basics quickly if they are willing to accept that bad luck and hard lessons are part of the design.
