Its world feels cheerful on the surface, but the journey steadily reveals danger, strange creatures, and a mystery worth chasing. The tone stays playful and approachable, with a stubborn frog hero who is more willing than qualified to investigate what is happening.

Platforming drives the adventure as Frogatto jumps across ledges, avoids traps, confronts enemies, and searches each area for routes that were previously out of reach. Combat is simple but active, built around timing attacks, keeping mobile, and using the environment without turning the game into a punishing brawler.
