After a crash strands Captain Garato on an alien planet, Kiki slips into a bipedal mech and descends through a hostile underground facility to find a way back to the surface. Most of the adventure revolves around pushing through interconnected rooms, fighting alien wildlife, locating upgrades, and gradually opening routes that were previously out of reach. The mech handles combat with a responsive blaster and expanding weapon options, while bosses demand careful positioning and recognition of attack patterns rather than brute force. Kiki can also leave the suit to crawl through narrow tunnels and swim across passages the bulky machine cannot access, creating simple but effective environmental puzzles.
