Prosperity itself functions as a grim mystery box, with the town’s history of annihilation and vanishing visitors providing a compelling reason to push deeper into its nightmare. Players looking for the methodical resource management of classic Resident Evil may find the emphasis on reflexes and power progression different, but fans of bloody action horror and old-school genre excess should feel at home.
