Game Overview

Gameplay in Graveyard Architect is divided into 2 stages. The first one (day) is based on building a cemetery, decorating it, and burying the dead. The second, night stage is a punishment for the lack of diligence during the day, the angry inhabitants of the cemetery want to take revenge on you. In the daytime phase of the game, you must complete the received orders and bury the properly delivered dead. Additionally, you can decorate your cemetery to provide them with a dignified rest, but not only that. Your task is also to obstruct the movement of potentially rebellious dead so that they have trouble getting to you in the moment of rebellion. When night comes, the (un)dead will punish you for your incompetence and rise from their graves. It will be caused by insufficient decorations, clutter in the cemetery, and other unfavorable activities during the day. You must fight for your life and pray that dawn will come sooner than you think. Don’t let them leave the cemetery. The dead site is right there.
