A pig-led revolution tears through a grotesque technocratic future where humanity has turned intelligent livestock into a self-consuming food supply. Set in 2060, Guts ’n Grunts casts players as Rudy Hammon, an unusually determined boar who turns against the regime that breeds and exploits his kind. His target is the ruling Technate and its leader, Klaus Küller, but the route to the top runs through deranged laboratories, industrial deathtraps, and armies of mutants and machines. The tone is knowingly absurd, packed with splatter, pork-themed satire, and the hard-edged energy of old-school action games.

Rudy fights his way across hostile stages with running, jumping, shooting, swimming, and evasive rolling forming the basic survival toolkit. Combat revolves around blasting enemies quickly while staying mobile, finding useful power-ups, and making the most of upgrades that improve his ability to survive escalating threats. Expect a demanding arcade-style structure: enemy patterns, hazards, and larger mechanical opponents reward sharp reactions more than slow, cautious play.
