A scorched apartment block becomes a suffocating maze in this compact psychological horror experience. Hallways repeat, rooms subtly shift, and the promise of an exit steadily gives way to the feeling that the building has no end at all. The mood is bleak, dreamlike, and relentlessly uneasy rather than action-driven, using isolation and uncertainty to create its scares. Something else is caught in the building with you, turning every encounter into a question of whether help is really help.

Play centers on first-person exploration and observation as you move through the apartment’s looping corridors, investigate unsettling spaces, and look for a way to break free. The changing layout encourages players to notice small environmental differences, while interactions with other trapped figures introduce a human element to the nightmare. There is no combat-focused power fantasy here; vulnerability and tension are the point, with sound design doing much of the heavy lifting through distant noises, oppressive ambience, and sudden disturbances. Designed as a single uninterrupted session, the full experience lasts roughly 20 to 30 minutes and does not include a save system, so it works best when played in one sitting with headphones.

Hollow Floor stands out through its low-poly, pixelated presentation, which gives its burned-out interiors the rough, uncanny character of older horror titles without simply imitating them. Its strongest asset is efficiency: instead of stretching a simple premise across several hours, it concentrates on atmosphere, visual unease, and a steadily warped sense of place.
