An undercover police operation turns a bizarre dystopian premise into a dark, adult-focused RPG about exposing illegal “human farms.” Three officers work beyond official channels, infiltrating a criminal network that exploits people under the guise of livestock-style labor and rehabilitation. The tone is deliberately unsettling but also pulpy and eccentric, balancing detective work, cityside errands, and fetish-oriented scenarios with an ongoing conspiracy.

Players control Iori and her allies as they investigate leads, speak with civilians, visit businesses, and take on quests outside the farm itself. Human Farm : Investigation uses straightforward keyboard-driven movement and interaction, with a run option helping move through its locations more quickly; action-focused sections can be softened with optional cheats for players who prefer the narrative content. Progress comes from pushing the investigation forward, meeting a varied cast of officers, workers, performers, and suspects, and unlocking scenes through story events and side activities. Multiple endings add a reason to replay, although the separate scene-unlock system does not automatically reveal every conclusion, so choices and progression still matter.

What separates it from a standard adult RPG is its attempt to build a wider city around the central premise rather than keeping everything confined to a single facility. Iori’s investigation is supported by Maria’s combat ability, Rui’s hacking expertise, and a cast whose relationships give the material more personality than its provocative setup initially suggests.
