Players manage the complete balance of a foiling boat, controlling course direction, sail trim, and the critical foil settings that determine ride height and stability. The central challenge is pushing the hull high enough to reduce drag and build speed without overcorrecting, dropping back into the water, or capsizing outright. Variable winds, currents, and changing sea states force constant adaptation rather than allowing one perfect setup to carry a whole race. Multiplayer regattas support grids of up to ten competitors, making close in-shore racing as much about clean tactical decisions as pure boat handling.

A selection of distinct modern vessels gives the simulator its identity, from the Jx40 monohull with automated ride-height assistance to the powerful Jx50 catamaran and SailGP’s official F50. The F50 content brings the spectacular, near-100 km/h catamarans and recognizable race liveries into a first-person format where their speed feels earned rather than automatic. Physical accuracy is the main attraction, with developer Stefano Casillo’s simulation background clearly aimed at players who enjoy mastering systems instead of relying on arcade shortcuts.
