The shrine is compact but carefully used, repeatedly making familiar rooms feel unsafe as the story escalates and new dangers emerge. Players who enjoy the vulnerable protagonists and puzzle-driven pacing of Amnesia, Fatal Frame, or classic Silent Hill will find much to appreciate, especially if atmosphere matters more than combat.
