A solution might require leaving an item for a past self, arranging a future action before its cause is visible, or carefully synchronizing several timelines so nobody breaks the chain of events. The early puzzles teach the rules with admirable restraint, then steadily combine them into increasingly demanding spatial and logical problems. More than 50 hand-built stages provide a substantial campaign, and progress comes from genuinely understanding the rules rather than stumbling into lucky answers.

Minimalist presentation is a major strength here, since uncluttered visuals keep attention on the elegant machinery of each puzzle while Tim Shiel’s reactive ambient score gives the rooms an uneasy, hypnotic atmosphere. Induction stands apart from most time-manipulation games because it asks players to construct stable paradoxes instead of merely rewinding mistakes, making every completed solution feel like a carefully rehearsed performance. The design is unapologetically difficult, with little interest in over-explaining itself, so patience and note-taking can be valuable in later levels.
