A century of industrialized slaughter turns Europe into a nightmare where trenches, artillery, and experimental war machines coexist beneath a permanent gray sky. Iron Storm is an alternate-history first-person shooter set in 1964, after the Great War has continued for decades instead of ending. As Allied lieutenant James Anderson, you cross a shattered Germany to sabotage enemy installations and strike at the machinery keeping the conflict alive. Anderson’s campaign follows a largely linear series of hostile locations, from muddy front-line defenses and ruined cities to factories, bunkers, and heavily guarded military complexes.
