You play Iko, a young warrior piloting a battered airship between fragmented floating islands, restoring their magnetic cores and slowly pulling the scattered world back together. The premise supports both lively action and a gentle story about loneliness, friendship, and the strange people encountered along the route. Its colorful scenery and playful dialogue keep the mood optimistic even when monsters, pirates, and imposing bosses block the way forward.

Iko travels through interconnected 2D regions, using melee attacks, careful platforming, and a growing set of movement abilities to reach hidden paths and previously inaccessible rooms.
