An abandoned hedge maze becomes a claustrophobic hunting ground where every wrong turn can separate the group from safety. Labyrinthine is a first-person cooperative horror experience built around the unnerving idea that the maze is far larger, stranger, and more alive than it first appears. Up to four players investigate the ruined Happisburg attraction, piecing together its history while something hostile stalks the paths beyond the hedges. The mood leans heavily into tense exploration and sudden panic rather than constant action, making quiet moments as dangerous as the chases.

Each session revolves around navigating confusing environments, finding key items, reading clues, and solving puzzles that unlock the next section of the maze. Players need to communicate about landmarks, routes, switches, codes, and pursuing creatures, since splitting up can speed up a search but leaves everyone vulnerable. Encounters are about evasion, hiding, and keeping a clear head under pressure instead of fighting back with weapons. Story-driven areas introduce new visual themes and puzzle ideas, while the shifting layouts and limited visibility ensure that even a simple objective can become a frantic rescue mission.
