Loslan is a colorful fantasy realm where every expedition feels like a compact tactical puzzle. LEGIONCRAFT follows heroes from six distinct lands as they gather allies, hunt relics, and build enough strength to confront a looming Demon King. Its tone is adventurous rather than grim, but the cheerful fresco-inspired art hides a game that asks for careful planning. Rangers, cooks, necromancers, and stranger professions all bring their own perspective to a world packed with unusual creatures and competing civilizations.

Battles revolve around arranging square pieces on a board, blending falling-block puzzle logic with party-based RPG strategy. Successful placements improve your formation, trigger abilities, and turn a loose collection of recruits into a capable legion, while poor decisions can leave vital resources wasted. Gold, supplies, combat power, and morale all matter during an adventure, so recruiting the right companions is only part of the challenge; you also need to sustain them through increasingly demanding encounters. A large roster of heroes, more than a hundred skills, equipment-style sets, and rune-altering effects gives players plenty of room to experiment with builds, including on tougher nightmare-level content.

What makes LEGIONCRAFT memorable is its willingness to fuse genres that rarely meet: it has the collection and progression appeal of a fantasy RPG, but its moment-to-moment problem solving resembles a spatial strategy game. Around 400 recruitable creatures ensure that armies look and play differently between runs, while the twelve lord characters add another layer of utility and personality. Campaigns travel from frozen frontiers to subterranean kingdoms, and customizable encounter stages offer a useful testing ground for optimized teams. Between serious expeditions, a card-based side activity provides a lighter diversion.
