Its tone is colorful and silly rather than simulation-minded, with exaggerated drifts, collectible distractions, comic characters, and environments built to be smashed through or launched across. The result feels like a kid-friendly racer that still has enough speed and chaotic competition to entertain adults.

Races revolve around accessible drifting, boost management, jumps, weapon-style power-ups, and finding useful shortcuts through each course.
