John navigates wooded paths, an abandoned camp, and increasingly confusing underground tunnels with a map and walkie-talkie as his most important tools. Progress comes from following clues, locating routes through the mine, and piecing together why Samanta’s investigation overlaps so closely with John’s own past. There is no emphasis on combat or survival management; the central loop is careful exploration, listening to radio exchanges, and unraveling a story through environmental details.
