Set in a post-apocalyptic world where Earth is slowly healing after a devastating cataclysm at the end of the 1990s, the game invites players to embark on an emotional journey alongside a young girl and a malfunctioning robot called the Mech-ute. Guided only by a set of fading geographic coordinates programmed into the Mech-ute, this unlikely pair must navigate lush, colorful landscapes, overcome environmental challenges, and uncover relics from the dawn of the 21st century. Along the way, they encounter a variety of peculiar characters, building a touching story about hope, friendship, and discovery in a world reclaimed by nature. The gameplay features engaging asymmetrical co-op where players control two distinct characters, combining their unique abilities to progress through obstacles and puzzles. Piloting the Mech-ute through the young girl unlocks new skills and cooperative interactions, allowing for creative problem solving and exploration.
