Professor Cheshire’s institute turns the familiar escape-room fantasy into a tense, story-driven mystery built around fractured memories and desperate medical obsession. Mad Experiments 2: Escape Room picks up the tale of a scientist whose effort to cure his daughter Hildegarde has pushed him far beyond ethical limits, leaving patients trapped inside a sinister laboratory-prison. The mood is more eerie than outright terrifying, with each chamber revealing another piece of the professor’s history and the human cost of his experiments. Rather than simply hunting for an exit, players gradually uncover why the institute exists and what happened to those caught inside it.

Progress comes through close observation, communication, and methodical puzzle-solving across four distinct rooms. Players inspect furniture, documents, devices, locks, and strange experimental equipment, collecting clues and connecting details that initially seem unrelated. Challenges lean into classic real-life escape-room logic: deciphering codes, manipulating mechanisms, noticing environmental patterns, and sharing discoveries with the group. Solo players can work through the investigation at their own pace, while online co-op supports up to six participants, making it especially suited to a group that enjoys talking through clues instead of relying on reflexes or combat skill.
