Game Overview
A sleepover turns into a desperate fight through the endless nightmare of a starving goddess, where every doorway can lead somewhere stranger and deadlier. Mama's Sleeping Angels is a surreal co-op horror action game built around escaping shifting dream realms while uncovering why Mama keeps people trapped inside her mind. Its atmosphere leans more uncanny than traditionally gothic: bizarre creatures, cursed relics, and dream logic make the worlds feel hostile even before combat begins. Survival carries real pressure because returning from an expedition without the required cursed objects can cost your character their life.
Runs revolve around pushing through one of six procedurally assembled dreamworld types, scavenging equipment, confronting monsters, and bringing valuable or dangerous objects back to the house. Firearms such as the FAMAS and sniper rifle support ranged encounters, while a chainsaw offers a more reckless solution when enemies crowd in. Masks are a major progression tool, permanently changing what your character can do and encouraging players to consider long-term builds rather than grabbing every power blindly. Cursed finds need to be examined through an in-game flip-phone, revealing effects that may provide useful advantages, painful drawbacks, or information needed to understand the larger mystery.
Co-op for up to four players gives the game much of its personality, especially when teammates combine support items, healing, damage reflection, and enhanced movement to survive a difficult run. The central house acts as a breather between expeditions, with its computer room cataloguing creatures, curses, and artifacts while players work toward locating twelve trapped NPCs. Randomized environments and unpredictable item effects give it roguelite energy, though its focus remains on cooperative exploration and lore rather than pure score-chasing. Players who enjoy the tense scavenging of Lethal Company, paired with more direct shooting and a stranger supernatural story, are likely to find plenty to dig into; solo players can play, but groups get the strongest experience.
