Its dated interface and steep learning curve can frustrate players expecting immediate action, but the focused design remains rewarding once its systems click. Fans of Europa Universalis, Hearts of Iron, or Total War’s campaign layer who want a more map-driven take on the Napoleonic Wars should find plenty to command here, especially if they enjoy deliberate planning over fast tactical spectacle.
