Its world feels oppressive even in ordinary moments, where distorted sights, intrusive sounds, and sudden shifts in perspective turn daily life into something hostile. That approach can be effective, but it also means the game may be genuinely upsetting for anyone sensitive to themes of mental illness, self-harm, violence, or abuse.
