Virtual reality support makes the sense of altitude and velocity even more intense.

Flight drives nearly every encounter. You launch from street level, burst through clouds, leave the atmosphere, and race toward attacks occurring anywhere on a planet-sized Earth populated by procedurally assembled urban areas. Combat centers on aiming energy attacks at enormous alien machines and their defenses, but careless fire damages buildings and kills people, reducing your performance and forcing you to consider where each shot lands.
