Defeated machines provide components for Modifiers, letting you adjust builds around stronger attacks, altered defensive options, or specialized mobility; repairing damaged robots also rewards thorough exploration with useful bonuses.

The Vessel is more than a backdrop: its changing ecosystems and layered architecture make it feel like a ruined organism whose history must be pieced together from its survivors and environments. Hand-drawn influences from comics, painting, and animation help distinguish its look from the usual sterile sci-fi station, while the flexible upgrade system gives players room to solve encounters in their own style.
