Moroi is a surreal horror-adventure built around escaping the Cosmic Engine, an enormous and hostile prison that seems personally designed to humiliate its inmates. Puzzles are equally committed to the setting’s warped sensibilities, asking players to manipulate blood, organs, and other unpleasant materials to open the path ahead.

Moroi stands apart through its willingness to make every part of the adventure feel contaminated by its nightmare setting, from its dialogue to its puzzle design and equipment choices. The inhabitants of the Engine are not merely quest dispensers; their absurd personalities and uncertain motives make every apparent ally worth questioning. Multiple runs reveal altered story details and several ending paths, giving the game more value than a straightforward linear horror campaign.
