An undead prince tries to earn respect by planting sinister settlements across a colorful kingdom that insists on casting the living as the villains. NecroCity blends city building, real-time strategy, and tower defense into a playful campaign about expanding a meticulously bureaucratic realm of bones, ghosts, and questionable paperwork. Every map revolves around protecting a central ziggurat while would-be heroes march in to ruin the operation. The tone stays mischievous rather than grim, with cute skeletal laborers, absurd fantasy politics, and an underdog story told from the monsters’ perspective.

Each mission asks you to establish a functioning outpost before enemy waves overwhelm it. Skeleton workers harvest materials, produce supplies, and fuel structures with necromantic power, while scouting reveals useful terrain and incoming threats. You lay walls to funnel attackers, position towers and traps around choke points, and construct military buildings that turn your workforce into a defensive army. Active pause lets you stop the action to issue commands and redesign a failing defense, making the game approachable for players who enjoy strategy but dislike frantic micromanagement.
