Game Overview

A small rain cloud becomes the unlikely caretaker of a dying sky in this gentle restoration sim. Grey floating islands bloom back to life wherever you release water, turning a quiet journey into a series of satisfying before-and-after transformations. The mood stays calm and hopeful, supported by rain, wind, birds, and running water rather than pressure or combat. Beneath that relaxed surface sits a charming fantasy world of frozen coves, lava terraces, stormy outcrops, autumnal isles, and a final Great Tree that needs your help.

Most of the action revolves around drifting across each island, holding a button to rain on dry ground, and restoring grass, flowers, trees, rivers, lakes, and waterfalls. Your cloud has a limited water supply, so you periodically fly beyond an island’s edge to refill in the surrounding mist, while environmental interactions gradually add variety. Wind can knock you off course, geysers replenish your cloud, lightning scars restored land, and temporary weather events ask you to extinguish spreading fires, avoid hail shadows, or take advantage of scattered seeds and chain-reaction blooms. Ancient stone cups redirect water through the landscape, while waking a huge stone giant creates a living green trail as it walks toward a lake.

Nedi Cloud Simulator stands out through its tactile, immediate restoration system: rain falls exactly where you aim, and the terrain visibly responds in waves of color and growth. Every island introduces a fresh wrinkle without compromising the low-stress design, and there is no fail state for players who simply want to wander and heal the landscape at their own pace. Completion-minded players can hunt hidden seeds, unlock cloud appearances, find shrines and animals, uncover a secret island, and race rival clouds for medal times. Fans of the soothing environmental recovery in Townscaper, Alba, or Terra Nil should find plenty to enjoy, while its simple controls make it especially approachable for newcomers and younger players.

Setup Guide & Troubleshooting

How do I fix missing DLL errors for Nedi Cloud Simulator?

After extracting Nedi Cloud Simulator, navigate to the _Redist or _CommonRedist folder inside the game directory and install DirectX, Vcredist, and any other dependencies included.

What should I do if the downloaded file is corrupted?

The full archive is 245.35 MB — make sure your download completed fully before extracting. Use 7-Zip to extract the files. If you still see a "file corrupted" error, re-download and try again.

Do I need to run the game as administrator?

Usually, no. Start the game normally from the extracted folder. If you see a permissions or save error, check that the folder is writable and follow the game's documented fix. Only grant administrator access when a trusted game's specific setup requires it.

How do I update my GPU drivers for this game?

Nedi Cloud Simulator requires a NVIDIA GTX 1060 / AMD RX 570 or equivalent. Update your NVIDIA or AMD drivers to the latest version for the best performance.

The game won't launch — what should I try?

Check that extraction completed and your PC meets the system requirements, including Version 11. Note any error message before choosing a fix. If it identifies a missing runtime, install the required DirectX components or Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable from Microsoft.

My antivirus is blocking the game — is it safe?

A warning needs to be investigated; the download source alone cannot confirm that a file is safe. Keep your security software enabled and review the detection details. Do not run or restore a flagged file unless you have verified that it is a false positive. If you are unsure, leave it quarantined.
