Missions move between glamorous hotels, frozen military bases, underwater facilities, city streets, and heavily guarded compounds, usually mixing firefights with objectives such as infiltration, hostage rescues, evidence gathering, and sabotage. Cate carries conventional pistols, rifles, shotguns, and explosives, but the real fun comes from spy gear disguised as everyday objects: lipstick grenades, perfume bottles, briefcases, toy animals, and other ridiculous tools all serve a practical purpose. Stealth can matter, especially when alarms summon reinforcements, though neither campaign demands the slow, punishing precision of a dedicated stealth sim. The sequel refines the formula with stronger visuals, broader environments, more responsive enemy behavior, and a selection of light skill upgrades that lets players shape Cate’s approach.

What makes the series memorable is its commitment to personality: intercepted enemy conversations, eccentric voice performances, period fashion, and elaborate locations make each mission feel authored rather than interchangeable. Its shooting has the stiffness and occasional difficulty spikes of an older PC FPS, but imaginative objectives and varied gadgets prevent it from becoming a simple corridor shooter.
