Her assignment involves shepherding seven travelers across pivotal moments in New York history, from Gilded Age street crime and Prohibition-era nightlife to the traumatic morning of September 11. The mood balances witty workplace banter and character drama with the constant unease that one careless choice can reshape lives, timelines, and Fia’s own future.

Each case asks you to investigate locations, speak with clients and historical figures, gather clues, and combine inventory items in the traditional adventure-game fashion. The key twist is that puzzles account for cause and effect across time: a problem in one era can require a solution planted years earlier, and information from the future can radically reframe what matters in the past. Fia can die, but failure is rarely a dead end; ChronoZen’s technology lets her rewind and use what she learns to approach the situation differently. Conversations carry much of the experience, with fully voiced characters, while the cases gradually connect into a larger mystery involving the rules and ethics of commercial time travel.
